You Are A Special Gift To Your Constituents – Minister of Youths And Sports Development Hails Ekwunife
— As Federal Lawmaker Empowers Over 300 Youths Across The Zone
The Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare has hailed Senator Uche Ekwunife’s legislative committee, saying that she is a special gift to her constituents.
Speaking on Thursday, March 24, 2022, during the conclusion of extraordinary training tagged Zonal Strategic Capacity Building For Youths In Anambra Central Senatorial District, the Honourable Minister commended the federal lawmaker for the continued provision of an impactful framework for positive youths development.
The Minister who was represented by the Assistant Director Enterprise Development and Promotion Department, Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, Mr. Chukwuma Ugwuoke urged other lawmakers to emulate Ekwunife in attracting programmes that would prepare their constituents for entrepreneurship skills.
In her remarks, Ekwunife tasked participants to put into positive practice the knowledge gained at the training, adding that youths hold the key to better the world. She noted that participants were lucky to participate in the training from the pool of the teeming youths from across the zone.
The Chairman Senate Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation who was represented by her Head Liaison Office, Awka, Mr. Nonso Ofozoba restated her commitment towards human capital development and youths development. She appreciated the facilitator for coming to train her constituents in various entrepreneurship skills.
Different participants who spoke commended Ekwunife for the opportunity to be part of the training. They pledged their continuous support as she discharges her mandate in the National Assembly.
