SOLUDO: We Will train 3,000 Youths yearly under a skill development program in the Creative Industry.

Governor-Elect Chukwuma Soludo has envisioned an Anambra where the creative industry will play a major role in mediating the digital transformation planned for the State. There is greater evidence that Anambra has a pool of creative thinkers, innovators and problem-solvers scattered around the world. He will take deliberate steps to encourage a critical mass development of this sector within the state especially in the areas of fashion, film and video, design, music, visual and performing arts, crafts, and others.
Soludo’s government, however, will unlock the formal and informal opportunities, and growth potentials within the creative industry to play an important role for the generation of 130,000 private sector jobs his administration has promised to achieve per year, throughout his stay in office, this he will achieve by resuscitating and empowering the Creative Economy Council to drive innovation and partnership to grow the industry in the State.
In order for his administration to drive a creative economy, he will partner with private sector cinema and multi-use facility developers to develop entertainment centres in key Anambra cities. Yes, when sworn-in on Thursday, March 17, 2022, he cannot wait to drive partnership and access Direct Foreign Investments and intervention programmess such as the Nigeria Innovation Programme (NIP) to drive skills development in the creative economy and ensure an even development of creative talents in the State.
Soludo government has set a target of training at least 3,000 youths yearly under a skill development Programme in the creative industry value chain to give them exportable skills that can be harnessed for their personal development.
