Soludo did not influence Hon. Mrs Bianka Ojukwu And Hon. Mark Okoye’s Appointments …. Dr Chidi Okoye (Founder IKEMBA FRONT and Convener Southeast Coalition 4 Tinubu).

Awka, Anambra State – The Ikemba Front, a socio-political group dedicated to preserving the legacy of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, held its end-of-year celebration on Saturday at its headquarters in Awka. The event, convened by Hon. Dr. Chidi Okoye, Founder of Ikemba Front and Convener of the South East Coalition for Tinubu, brought together key stakeholders, dignitaries, and APC members in a spirited reflection on the group’s progress and the path forward for Anambra State.

In his keynote address, Dr. Okoye debunked recent claims by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) that Governor Charles Soludo masterminded the federal appointments of Hon. Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu and Hon. Mark Okoye.
“Let me state categorically that these appointments were not influenced by Governor Charles Soludo,” Dr. Okoye declared. They were the sole decision of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a gesture of respect for Ojukwu’s legacy and a recognition of the competence of those appointed.”
Dr. Okoye highlighted the exceptional qualifications of both Bianca Ojukwu and Mark Okoye, noting that their appointments were rooted in merit and their enduring contributions to public service.
“Bianca Ojukwu’s appointment is a fitting tribute to her late husband’s towering legacy as the supreme leader of the Igbo people,” he said. “Similarly, Mark Okoye, with his proven track record in governance, represents a new generation of leaders driven by professionalism and dedication. His close ties with Seyi Tinubu further underscore the shared vision for Nigeria’s development.”

He dismissed APGA’s assertions as baseless, emphasizing that President Tinubu personally recognized the importance of these appointments as a step toward inclusivity and national unity.
The event also served as a platform for the Ikemba Front to reiterate its commitment to championing the ideals of Dim Ojukwu. Reflecting on the group’s achievements, Dr. Okoye expressed gratitude for the dedication of its members and called for continued support of APC’s agenda in Anambra State.
“Our mission is clear: to uphold the values of service, leadership, and development that Ojukwu stood for. This is why we are fully mobilized to ensure APC’s victory in the 2025 governorship election,” Dr. Okoye said.
Dr. Okoye further connected the recent federal appointments to the broader vision of APC’s growing influence in Anambra State. He urged party members to rally behind the leadership of Ikemba Front and work toward a landslide victory in the governorship election.
“These appointments are a testament to APC’s commitment to recognizing excellence and competence,” he stated. “We must carry this momentum forward to ensure Anambra State benefits from responsive governance.”
Dr. Okoye’s statements aimed to set the record straight, challenging APGA’s narrative and spotlighting President Tinubu’s vision for a united and prosperous Nigeria. His remarks underscored the importance of transparency and accuracy in political discourse.
