Our country Nigeria is plagued by insecurity, extreme poverty, bad economics, and a miserable standard of living, and Nnewi South/North and Ekwusigo Federal constituency is not exempted from this general experience. Nigeria in general and our federal constituency, in particular, has not been blessed with visionary and transformational leaders especially as our political representative to move Nnewi South/North and Ekwusigo Federal constituency to its rightful place of needed development and representation. This leadership deficit has created more harm in our youths and women.
Our past representatives promised us to work through legislative motions, bills, advocacy and effective quality representation, and constituency projects to turn the tide of economic erosion significantly for the good and development of Nnewi South/North and Ekwusigo Federal constituency. However, from 1999 to date the decay is proving very difficult to tackle. The economic indicators keep looking frightening – pervasive poverty is evident to all, inflation and unemployment are at an all-time high, education standards are at low ebbs, healthcare is at the brink of collapse with constant strike action by doctors, and trust in the system and in our political representatives is eroding significantly. This situation fuels unprecedented insecurity in Nigeria and the federal constituency in particular.
Ada Nnewi and Ekwusigo understand the need for adequate development, hence she will be committed to rigorously purse bills, motions and influencing budget to the benefit of Nnewi South/North and Ekwusigo Federal constituency. She will ensure that constituency projects are sited in critical sectors and areas that will bring maximal benefit to Ndi-Nnewi and Ekwusigo.
Ada Nnewi and Ekwusigo is a woman with the ability to thrive amid pandemonium and difficulties. Her capacity to succeed despite mountainous odds is her exceptional leadership quality that inspires hope for a better tomorrow for the youths, the women and Ndi-Nnewi/Ekwusigo in general. Her creativity, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and optimism make it certain that she will make a positive impact in our federal constituency. Only a dedicated leadership and representative will facilitate the enabling environment that will bring about development. She will channel her energy on political brinkmanship to solving Ndi-Nnewi/Ekwusigo’s myriad of problems to the best of her office as our representation in the green chamber.
It is by supporting the political aspiration of ADA NNEWI AND EKWUSIGO that will we create a Nnewi South/North and Ekwusigo Federal constituency of our dreams.
