Media Guru Chief Uche Nworah To Deliver Lecture On Titles In Igboland At Oxford University


Chief Uche Nworah, the former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the state-owned media house, Anambra Broadcasting Service, Awka, has been invited by James Currey Society in Oxford University to speak on title ‘The Significance of Titles In Igboland’.
Oxford University is one of the oldest and foremost universities on the planet.
The James Currey Society, Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages, will host the titled man on Thursday while he lectures on the mentioned topic.

The James Currey Society is the brainchild of Dr. Onyeka Nwelue, a popular Nigerian filmmaker and storyteller. Nwelue, who hails from Imo State, founded the society under the African Studies Centre at the prestigious University.
The society is named after James Currey, the famous publisher known for his focus on academic works related to African Studies.
Chief Nworah, who bears the traditional title of Ezeudo, headed the state media house from July 2014 until March 2022.
