Governor Soludo Goes For Thanksgiving For His New Office

The new Mr Governor of Anambra state, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has gone to church to thank God for his new office. The service was held at his hometown in Isuofia.
It is truly not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but of God that showeth mercy. The Bishop of Ekwulobia Catholic Diocese, the Most Reverend Peter Okpaleke, was present at the service.
During the sermon, the Bishop thanked God for the success of the election and the inauguration. He also congratulated the new Governor on his new office. He talked about wisdom and urged the Governor to follow the path of wisdom.
He also reminded the body of Christ to pray for the leaders of the nation as Christ commanded. The Bishop spoke highly of Professor Soludo saying that a great brain like him would yield good fruits for the state. He remarked that his advice to the Governor equally extends to every other official in the Soludo administration and the arms of government.
When the Governor spoke, he thanked the good Lord for His mercies and graciousness. He mentioned his intention for having a small inauguration ceremony; about this he told the church the state has more pressing needs the supposed money for the big ceremony would help in solving. He appreciated the former Governor, Chief Willie Obiano and hoped he would regain his freedom in no distant time.
The thanksgiving ended in praise and gratitude to the Almighty God. The Governor’s wife, Mrs Nonye Soludo was also at the Governor’s side at the thanksgiving service. Other dignitaries from the state were present at the service.
