GOVERNOR CHUKWUMA SOLUDO CELEBRATES INAUGURATION WITH THANKSGIVING MASS, CORRECTIONAL CENTER VISITATIONS

Governor Charles Soludo who was recently sworn in as the Governor of Anambra state celebrates his inauguration with a thanksgiving mass at St. Theresa Isuofia, Anambra state, and visitation to Ekwulobia and Nnewi correctional centers, Anambra state.
The Governor accompanied by his wife Mrs. Nnoye Soludo, the Deputy Governor Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly Rt. Hon Uche Episeni Okafor including some Honourable Members of the House; Secretary to the State Government, Prof Solo Chukwulobelu and a host of many others were present to appreciate God’s glory for a successful inauguration.
The presiding bishop of Ekwulobia, His Lordship Most Reverend Peter Ebere Okpaleke congratulated Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo and Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim on their ascendancy as the.Governor and Deputy Governor of Anambra state respectively.




In his sermon, he advised Deputy Governor Dr. Ibezim to stay loyal to the Governor and they should work harmoniously together to make Anambra a better state for her citizens. He further advised the Governor to always address issues obstructing his governance with wisdom like King Solomon in the Bible. In his words, he said, “Be a wise leader and the people will follow you faithfully”.
The Bishop described Governor Soludo as an intelligent man, inciting that the government of an intelligent man must be well in order to produce good dividends.
During his speech, the Governor expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the congregation for attending his thanksgiving service. He also expressed his hope for the quick release of the former Governor of Anambra state who was detained by EFCC on the day of Prof. Soludo’s inauguration. He briefed the congregation on his activities as the Governor for the last 72 hours. He spoke on his visitation to Okpoko and his plans to put an end to the cruel and notorious activities of touts in Anambra state.
To mark this day, Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo paid an honorable visit to Ekwulobia and Nnewi correctional centers to have lunch with the prisoners. In the center, he called for a swift dispensation of justice in the judicial system of the country and promised to adequately fulfill the basic needs of the prisoners.
