In a strategic move to bolster support for Sir Paul Chukwuma’s governorship ambition, Dr. Nicolas Igwe, popularly known as Omeluora Nimo, hosted key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Njikoka Local Government Area at his country home.

The gathering, which drew over 350 attendees, included APC Ward chairman, 27 Men Executives from all wards in Njikoka, five key APC Table Officers in the local government and wards, the Ikemba Front Local Government and Ward Executives, as well as prominent stakeholders in the region.

Welcoming the guests, Dr. Nicolas Igwe emphasized the need for a leadership shift in Anambra State, citing concerns over security and governance. He led the gathering in a moment of silence for those who lost their lives in Anambra over the past three years under the administration of Governor Charles Soludo.
“This meeting is a call to action. We must rally behind a leader with a true human heart—someone who will prioritize the safety of lives and properties in Anambra,” Dr. Igwe stated.

Speaking on behalf of the Njikoka Campaign Council, Mr. Nduka Aguofia (Ojide Mbuba Nimo), the coordinator of Sir Paul Chukwuma’s campaign in the LGA, expressed deep appreciation to Dr. Igwe for his unwavering support. He dismissed the notion that zoning should determine leadership in Anambra, emphasizing that competence should be one of the primary criteria.
“Zoning does not solve poverty, nor does it guarantee good governance. At this point, what Anambra needs is a competent leader, and Sir Paul Chukwuma fits that profile,” Aguofia declared.
Dr. Igwe reaffirmed his commitment, stating that his support for Chukwuma was rooted in a desire for effective and people-oriented governance.
