Governor Soludo Shines on Global Stage with Triple Honors at UNGA 80

It was a proud moment for Anambra State as Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo received three prestigious honors at the 2025 Global Power Forum, held alongside the 80th United Nations General Assembly.
In a ceremony filled with emotion and admiration, Governor Soludo was awarded:
- The African Public Service Excellence Award
- The African Governor of the Year Award
- A Special Commendation from the South Carolina House of Representatives



These accolades recognize the Governor’s unwavering commitment to public service, visionary leadership, and the transformative strides Anambra State has made under his administration.
Speaking after the event, Governor Soludo said, “I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. These honors are not just mine—they belong to the people of Anambra. Your support fuels our mission, and together, we’re showing the world what’s possible.”




The Governor shared the stage with an esteemed lineup of global leaders and dignitaries, including:
- Dr. Jakaya Kikwete, former President of Tanzania
- Prime Minister Philip Davis of The Bahamas
- President Sylvanie Burton of Dominica
- Kamla Persad-Bissessar, former Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago
- Prime Minister Dr. Judith Suminwa Tuluka of the Democratic Republic of Congo
- Prof. Vincent O. Nmehielle, Secretary-General of the African Development Bank
- The Governor of Zamfara State
As a keynote speaker, Governor Soludo delivered a powerful address on “Africa Unleashed: Navigating the Disruptions, Enhancing Opportunities,” spotlighting Anambra’s bold reforms, digital transformation, and inclusive growth strategy.
The Governor’s message was clear: Anambra is rising and the world is watching.
