HON. JUDE AKPUA PhD PRESENTS CHEQUE OF FIVE MILLION NAIRA TO ABAGANA WARD ONE .


VOWS FOR MORE DIVIDENDS OF DEMOCRACY AND VIBRANT REPRESENTATION.
The Honourable Member Representing Njikoka Two Constituency and Deputy Majority Leader of Anambra State House Of Assembly on 8th April 2025 handed down a cheque of five million naira to the leadership of Ward one Abagana at the State House of Assembly Complex, Awka .






Presenting the cheque, Honourable Jude Akpua noted that the money was earmarked for the installation of solar-powered street lights in ward one Abagana, a project that was selected by the people of the ward as most essential facility need of the area . Briefing the people on his achievements, Hon. Jude Akpua stated that in less than two years, he had consciously and painstakingly made enormous and evident contributions to the development of his Constituency and had continued to ensure purposeful vocality in the parliament which had ensued the passage of 2 bills, 31 self sponsored and co-sponsored motions. On the Constituency projects, Hon. Jude Akpua PhD averred that preponderance of Umuowelle had benefited from his constituency projects in forms of lockup shops, solar-powered street lights and boreholes, employments, empowerment and scholarship, the Honourable added that while Abagana-Ukpo-Abba and Awkuzu road he attracted was still under construction, Ezi Norbert to Express Enugwu-Agidi was being discussed and possibly be constructed by Mr Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR.

In their reactions, The Major Chieftain of the party in the ward; High Chief Ozoenyi John Emengini, Councilor ward one Abagana; Hon. Engr. Chinedu Obiokoye, chairman Umudunu Abagana; Chief Martin Ejiofor, APGA Chairman ward one; Nnadozie Aniecheonwu , Secretary of ward one; Chief Aniagor Chidozie, Former Councillor ward one; Hon. Okuagba Nnamdi, Women Leader ward one; Mrs Ebele Obiechina, all eulogized Hon Dr Jude Akpua for his people-oriented style of representation which they opined were unequal and most applaudable.

They took turns to enumerate some of his perceptible and appreciable achievements to include; facilitating the employment of 13 people of Njikoka Two Constituency into Anambra State Civil service, award of scholarship to indigent students of the Constituency, facilitation of the enrollment of unemployed youths into One youth Two Skills Initiative of Anambra State government, attraction of road constructions (Abagana -ukpo-Abba and Awkuzu road which is under construction) and Ezi Norbert – Enugwu Agidi Express road which will soon be awarded by the State government, fifteen million naira fencing of Abagana Girls Secondary school worth, borehole at ward 4 Abagana, ward 2 Nimo and installation of solar powered street lights at ward 3 nimo, 6 lockup shops in Abba etc. They all expressed their unreserved appreciation for what they described as unprecedented supersonic development of the Constituency through projects that they said resonate with the needs of the people.
Highlights were the presentation of cheque of five million naira to Abagana Ward One and interactive session on legislative functions.
