Igwe Daniel Obele Of Nawfia Receives Certificate Of Recognition From Anambra State Government

Igwe Daniel Obele has formally been recognized as the traditional ruler of the Nawfia community by the state government. He received a certificate of recognition at the office of Mr Greg Obi, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters
The presentation was done by Mr Gerald Akaeze, who stood for the commissioner. Mr Akaeze said that Igwe Obele has met the requirements for the office of the traditional ruler as stated in the state’s customary law and traditional ruler acts. The governor, therefore, endorses him as the king of the Nawfia community.
The newly instituted traditional ruler thanked the state government for the recognition and certification. He further said that he would work with his people for a better Nawfia.
Mr Gabriel Udogu, who is a notable member of the community, also expressed his joy for the recognition of the traditional ruler. He promised to give the needed support to the king to ensure that tranquility reigns in Nawfia.
Igwe Daniel Obele now has the title of Ezeudo one of Nawfia.
