Governor Obiano Inaugurates Students’ Hostel At Government Technical College Enugwu-Agidi

Our able governor, Chief Willie Obiano, has again made the education sector better by building and inaugurating an ultra-modern hostel for the students of Government Technical College Enugwu-Agidi.
Being a lover of education, the governor visited the boy’s secondary school where he spoke to the students as a father and a governor.
The seven hundred and fifty-bed capacity block is an addition to the list of the hostels built by Governor Willie Obiano’s administration.
While inaugurating the project, the governor emphasized that skills are crucial for attaining a better future in our world today. He also spoke on his administration bringing Anambra’s educational sector in pace with the world’s technological waves.
Prof Kate Omenugha, the Commissioner for Education, lauded the governor for being a man of his words. She said that Chief Willie Obiano, since he was sworn into office has always vowed to uplift the face of Anambra’s educational sector. She also spoke on Governor Obiano, changing the narrative and bringing entrepreneurship closer to students of the state.
The Commissioner also mentioned that Governor Obiano’s government has encouraged the students and teachers of the state by giving them a healthy dosage of the morale they need in competing with their contemporaries all over the world.
Dignitaries from the state also graced the event. Amongst them were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Chieftaincy Affairs, Lady Vera Okonkwo, the Anaocha Constituency Two representative at the State House of Assembly, Honourable Ejike Okechukwu, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Creative Security, Air Vice Marshal Ben Chiobi (retd), the Managing Director Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa, to mention but a few.
